That number is evidently 143,000 plus. That's how many coronavirus fatalities in the U.S. it took until our Confederate Lover-In-Chief, Donald Trump, finally tweeted that wearing a face mask is "patriotic" (or his intentionally vague "some say it's patriotic" stuff). It's obviously a smart thing to mask up but it sounds like a desperate move in Trump's case. Nearly five months into this tragic, awful mess, he's finally telling his country to wear a mask? He must have finally looked at his approval rating, or had someone read it to him. Someone also needs to tell him he looks like a pig up there the way he slouches at press conferences. A $20,000 suit can't change that.
Trump's talent for blowing hot air subsided for a brief moment today. Tomorrow, it's back to more lies, hate speech and wishing he were a dictator. And on the horizon: continued, senseless deaths that the president hasn't shown any interest in stopping. But he's been faking it well occasionally.
