There are a lot of things to be proud of concerning Washington, and a big one is the voting process. We receive our ballots about two weeks before election day, and we can mail them in (without even having to use a stamp now). Or we can transport them to a ballot box--the easiest for me is the one just a few hundred feet from where I work. Thanks, Washington!
The incredibly long lines that voters have to stand in around the country are plain ridiculous, and Republican lawmakers like it that way. Make it difficult for those Democrats and Independents to cast their ballot! The GOP likes gerrymandering and redistricting, too. Or stripping voters from the voting rolls. Or changing state laws as someone from an opposing party is about to take office.
It's quite a big day tomorrow; hold your breath now.
